Tre Dita celebrates the bounty of La Cucina Toscana, drawing inspiration from Florence, Lucca, Livorno, and more. Nestled on the 2nd floor of The St. Regis Chicago, overlooking the Chicago River and Lake Michigan just beyond, its name is derived from the Italian phrase for "three fingers," referring to the perfect thickness of a bistecca Fiorentina, a revered cut of beef (a t-bone) in Tuscany dating all the way back to the time of the Medici. The menu also highlights fresh handmade pasta with Funke’s signature pasta laboratorio located at the entryway for guests to appreciate. Tre Dita brings time honored tradition to life, offering a taste of Tuscany.
